Only autochthonous grape varieties are cultivated: Lagrein, Vernatsch, Gewürztraminer and South Tyrolean Goldmuskateller. They reflect the unadulterated attachment of the owners to their homeland.

Age of the vines 16 years.
The hand-picked Lagrein grapes are de-stemmed and after a cool maceration (20 -26°C) for 10 days, they finish their sugar breakdown within about 10 days without the pomace. Further refinement and maturation also takes place in steel tanks, whereby we deliberately use simple cellar techniques (aeration, sedimentation, heat and cold input, filtration) in order to maintain the unaltered character of the location and vintage.
Bottling about 10 months after the harvest, followed by 4 months of bottle aging.

Its fresh bright yellow reminds us of the ripe grapes just before the harvest. On the nose it captivates with its exceptionally spicy nutmeg note and exotic fruit aromas (kiwi, mango, lemon blossom), while on the palate the fine acidity and balanced structure make for a lasting impression on the finish.

Its bright ruby red color puts us in the right mood for the delicately floral bouquet of violets and the fruity cherry and raspberry aromas. On the palate, it is medium bodied with silky tannins and a pleasant marzipan note, and gives us the typical light bitter almond aroma on the finish.
